The Cayuga Lady Spartans came out flat and dropped a 65-38 decision to a very good Corning team in the conference opener for both schools.  Cayuga was led by Lakin Mueller (Central Square, NY) with 15 points and 5 assists, while fellow sophomore Maxine Williams (Jamestown, NY) chipped in with 9 points and led the team with 11 rebounds.  The Spartans will look to bounce back when they travel to Jefferson Community College on January 12th.
