Cayuga Community College Men's Basketball ended its 2025-26 season with a road loss to Tompkins Cortland Community College on Saturday.
In a competitive game throughout, the Spartans fell to the Panthers by an 80-73 final. Cayuga finishes the season 6-18 with a 5-9 record in Mid-State Athletic Conference play.
The Spartans trailed for most of the contest, but late baskets in the first half made the margin 40-35 at the break. The Panthers retained the lead in a competitive second half.
Josiah Murphy continued his stellar freshman season, leading the Spartans with 23 points and 12 rebounds in the game. Kirk McFarlane had 14 points, six rebounds and three steals, and Jai Clayton had 13 points with four three-pointers. Louie Charles had eight points, and Yaqub Drammeh had seven points and 10 rebounds. Omar Musa had seven rebounds.
