Successful Weekend in Albany

The men's bowling team traveled to Albany NY this weekend where they placed 1st on Saturday in the Boulevard Bowl Tournament and 5th on Sunday in the 16th Annual SCCC Invitational.  On Saturday the team came in first with a total pin fall of 8883.  They were led by Brandon Slayton (Auburn, NY) with a 229 average where he finished 5th overall, followed by Alex DiGenaro (Liverpool, NY) with a 227 average who finished 8th overall.  The entire team averaged over 200 for the entire tournament.  The team consisted of Slayton, DiGenaro, Bobby Moro (Syracuse, NY), Ryan Bertrand (Syracuse, NY), Matt Race (Auburn, NY) and Ryan Zbikowski (Baldwinsville, NY).

The women also had a successful weekend with both Mary Townley (Liverpool, NY) averaging 198 finishing 6th overall, and Megan May (Auburn, NY) who averaged 195 and finished 7th overall in the Boulevard Bowl Tournament. 

On Sunday in the 16th Annual SCCC Invitational the men's team came in 5th place and was led by Bobby Moro (Syracuse, NY) who finished 2nd overall with an average of 201.  On the women's side Mary Townley (Liverpool, NY) finished 4th overall despite only averaging 171 for the day.
