Announcement Regarding Spectators At Cayuga Home Games

Cayuga Community College is excited to announce that a limited number of spectators can attend home contests during the Spring 2021 semester starting Friday, April 2.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced Tuesday, March 30, that colleges and universities can resume allowing a limited number of spectators at outdoor sporting events based on COVID-19 health guidelines, effective April 2.

Starting on that date, each competing student-athlete can have a maximum of two (2) spectators attend home contests. Spectators are required to wear appropriate facemasks (not gaiters) at all times, and must sit at least six feet apart to support social distancing efforts. Student-athletes from visiting teams are also allowed a maximum of two (2) spectators.

All home contests for Cayuga's Spring 2021 athletics programs — Baseball, Softball and Men's Soccer — are at Falcon Park in Auburn.

Spectators are reminded that these restrictions are applicable only for home Cayuga Community College Spartans contests this semester. Spectators planning on traveling to away contests are encouraged to research health and safety guidelines at these other institutions.
