Lady Spartans Lose Home Opener

Poor shooting and sloppy play proved too much to overcome for the Lady Spartans as they dropped a 66-40 decision to Fulton Montgomery Community College in the season opener for both teams.  Miranda Charlton led the Spartans offense with 11 points while Alison Short and Briana Seda chipped in with 10 points apiece.  Tyresha Mathis led Cayuga with 12 rebounds.  The Spartans next game is versus Dean Community College on Saturday 11/5 in a tournament in Boston.
