Lady Spartans Win Big at Home

The Cayuga Lady Spartans broke a long losing streak with an 80-60 victory over visiting TC3.  Cayuga bolted out to a 21-4 lead and never looked back in earning its first conference win of the season.  Tyresha Mathis continued her string of dominant performances with a 22 point 20 rebound performance to lead the Spartans.  Briana Seda scored 13 points; Arezaya Barnes scored 10 points, while Ali Short, Miranda Charlton, and Shanika McMullen scored 9 points each.  Shanika McMullen also contributed 8 rebounds, 7 assists, and 4 steals to the Lady Spartans much needed victory.  Cayuga is back in action when they host OCC on Saturday game time is 1 p.m.
