Lady Spartans Lose at FLCC

An undermanned Lady Spartans tame kept it close in the 1st half trailing 37-34 at halftime but saw Finger Lakes open the lead up in the 2nd half on the way to a 71-59 Finger Lakes victory.  The Spartans playing without captain Ali Short due to an injury played extremely hard all afternoon but didn't have enough fire power at the end.  Tyresha Mathis led the Spartans with 21 points and a team high 24 rebounds.  Briana Seda scored 16 points and Miranda Charlton scored 11 points and pulled down 15 rebounds.  The Spartans will look to snap their losing streak Wednesday 1/25/12 when they host TC3 at 5:30.
