Lady Spartans Lose Heartbreaker at Home
Two foul shots with 31 seconds left proved to be the difference in Cayuga's heartbreaking 66-64 loss to Delhi. The Spartans who were unable to hold onto a 14 point half time lead had 2 shots that went off the rim that would have tied the game in the last five seconds. Briana Seda led a balanced attack with 19 points. Ali Short, Tyresha Mathis, and China Agnew all chipped in with 13 points each while Tyresha Mathis led the team with 17 rebounds. Cayuga is now 3-6 on the season and 3-3 in Region III Division III play. The Spartans are at Adirondack C.C. on 11/29/11 for their next game.
