Tough Loss on the Road

Despite playing great on the defensive end of the floor the Lady Spartans fell on the road to Mohawk Valley 57-39.  Cayuga forced five 30 second shot clock violations but could not overcome a poor shooting night.  Tyresha Mathis led the Spartans with 13 points and 17 rebounds.  Cayuga now 2-5 overall and 2-2 in Region 3, Division 3 play home vs. Clinton C.C. at 12:00 noon on Saturday and home vs. Delhi at 12:00 noon on Sunday.
