Lady Spartans Get Second Straight Win

The Cayuga Lady Spartans won the TC3 tournament championship with a 80-63 victory over TC3.  Briana Seda was named MVP of the tournament with a 25 point, 5 assist, and 6 steal performance in the championship game.  Tyresha Mathis was named to the all-tournament team after scoring 17 points and pulled down 12 rebounds.  Cayuga which led by 33 points with 11 minutes to play won its first tournament championship since the 2005-2006 season.  The Spartans now 2-4 on the young season travel to Mohawk Valley to take on the defending region champs on Tuesday 11/15/11.
