Top 10 ranked Monroe came to Cayuga's home field and proved why they are ranked. Monroe put up seventeen goals, while Cayuga had two. Anthony Irizarry (Middletown, NY) and Lucas Beauchamp (Parish, NY) were the only scorers for the Spartans. Monroe led 12-0 half way through the third quarter before a man up opportunity allowed Irizarry to score. Aaron Lamontagne (Syracuse, NY) led the groundball attack, as well as the defensive effort along with Jim Marsh (Fulton, NY) and Mike Galka (Auburn, NY) for Cayuga. Sixteen shots were denied by goalie Scott Blauvelt (Auburn, NY). Next up the Spartans travel to TC3.
