Cayuga came out strong versus Herkimer but failed to capitalize on some key situations and fell to the Generals 10-6. Anthony Irizarry (Middletown, NY) tallied three goals for the Spartans, followed by Mike Galka (Auburn, NY) with two and Matt Teich (Scottsdale, AZ) with one. Although the defense played a great game, Herkimer was still able to capitalize on some mistakes made by Cayuga. It was a back and forth game until Herkimer pulled away. Cayuga now travels down to Binghamton to face the Hornets of Broome Community College.
